My First 20% Time

For my 20% Time I am making a jean blanket. I had a hard time trying to decide what to do. I looked on the internet "creative crafts". And a website took me to a recycled jean blanket. It looked perfect. To start off you need old jeans. You lay the jeans on the floor and get a ruler and measure an 8x8 square. After you cut one out you will need a total of 64 squares. Once you have all of them cut out you lay them in rows of eight.  One you have them laid out you start sewing them together. Once the squares are sewn together you should get a soft blanket and sew it on the back so it will be more comfortable.

So far I have cut out 53 squares. I have had trouble getting the squares exactly 8x8. But, I have so much fun making this blanket. I'm so excited to see what it will look like when I'm done with it.

This is what I hope my finished project will look like.
